Happy New Year 2018 !
This Tuesday night, to celebrate the new year, we will show a movie, Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, produced in 2005. It was first written as a children’s fantasy in the 1940’s by C.S. Lewis, the British professor who was in the Department of Medieval and Renaissance Literature at both Oxford and later at Cambridge University. It is the tale of four children given responsibilities to do great good in a magical land with talking animals and a Great Evil. There are many parallels to the life and work of Jesus Christ.
We will eat early in order to give enough time to view the movie
